Dr. Saulius Vikšraitis

Dr. Saulius Vikšraitis – the surgeon of plastics and reconstruction. Graduated from Kaunas Medical Institute in 1984 and started to work in plastic and reconstructive microsurgery at Hospital of Kaunas University of Medicine. Saulius Vikšraitis is a founder of plastic and reconstructive microsurgery in Kaunas who has introduced new operational procedures. During the 20 years of work at Hospital of Kaunas University of Medicine he performed over 8 thousand plastic and corrective surgeries.

In 1992 he founded Kaunas Plastic Surgery Centre. After the years of much success, challenges and experience, he opened a new specialised clinic in Žaliakalnis, Č. Sasnauskas Street, in 2006.

Scientific activities: He is an author of more than 30 scientific papers and presentations. He is a co-author of the Monograph Advanced Methods Microsurgery. The doctor suggested a new method of face lifting in 1998. Since 2004, doctor Saulius Vikšraitis is an international medical expert.

Leisure: during his free time, Dr. Saulius Vikšraitis conveys the beauty by painting. He has organized five exhibitions of paintings. The surgeon is a member of the Rotary Club. He is a laureate of TV shows: Bėdų Turgus, Žaliasis Obuolys.

Ernest Zacharevskij

MD Ernest Zacharevskij – plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Born in 1982 in a family of engineers. 2000 got general education with distinction for advance in Vilnius grammar school of Jurgis Baltrušaitis. 2006 finished the master of medicine at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.  From 2006 to 2007 studied and practiced at Klaipėda University Hospital, got medical doctor professional qualification.  From 2007 to 2012 - plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kaunas Clinics, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. From 2012 started PhD studies at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, research topic: “Comparison of enzymatic, surgical and autolytic debridement effectiveness for the treatment of partial thickness hand burns”.

Internships: 2012 March: practice in Moriston Hospital, Swansea, Wales, UK (plastic and reconstructive surgery). 2012 April: practice in Catharina-Ziekenhuis Hospital, Eindhoven, Netherlands (micrographic surgery, skin oncology, dermatology).2011 February: practice in Gailezer Hospital, Riga, Latvia (plastic and reconstructive surgery). 2009 April-June: practice in hospitals of Carl University in Prague (Czech Republic) (general surgery, vascular surgery, burn surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, aesthetic surgery). 2004 June: practice in Helsinki University Central Hospital (Finland), cardiology division.
 
 

Irmantas Kerpauskas

Irmantas Kerpauskas - an anesthesiologist reanimatologist. In 1994 graduated from Kaunas University of Medicine, in 1998 finished Anesthesiology and Intensive Care residency. Since 1998 works as anesthetist in Intensive Care hospital positions LUHS Kaunas Clinics, Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery Clinic. In 1999 has received a doctor anesthetist resuscitator license. Internships in France, Lille University Hospital, Vilnius Santariškių clinics. From 2003 to 2005 has worked and studied in Belgium, in Brussels Saint-Luc University Hospital. Also worked as an anesthesiologist resuscitator in Jonava, Kaunas and Klaipeda County university hospitals.
 

Linas Nasvytis

Doctor anesthesiologist – reanimatologist. Graduated from Kaunas Medical Institute, Faculty of therapeutic in 1995 and obtained his doctor‘s degree. Obtained an anesthesiologist reanimatologist speciality in 1998. Doctor Linas Nasvytis has improved his qualification in Salzburg region St.Johan hospital in Austria, in 2001. Since 1998 works in Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular  surgery clinic at hospital of Kaunas University of Medicine, in the department of Cardiac Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy.
Actively involved in research activities and international conferences. He has been awarded a doctor of since degree for medical work „Warm blood cardioplegia properties in coronary artery bypass surgery“, in 2002.
Qualification training:
-    ACLS (The Advanced Cardiac Life Support) training course;
-    Course. Innovations in Anesthesia;
-    An introductory course for the echocardiography study;
-    Course. Innovations in Anesthesia;
-    ATLS (The Advanced Trauma Life Support) training course.
Since 2010, carry out educational activities. Doctor is a lecturer  of  LUHS (Lithuanian University of Health Sciences)  in Intensive Care clinic.
He is a member of Lithuanian society of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology.
He is a member of Lithuanian Society of Intensive Care.
In his free time, Dr. Linas Nasvytis is actively involved in sports. He loves to play basketball and swim. He interested in Eastern philosophy.
 

 Ina Ogenskienė

Ina Ogenskienė - an anesthesiologist-reanimatologist. In 1990 graduated from Kaunas Medical University. In 1992 finished Anesthesiology and Intensive Care residency. Has an experience of more than 20 years in a broad range of anaesthesiology: surgery, urology, gynecology, obstetrics, pediatric and adult ENT surgery. Mastered a variety of anesthesia techniques. Since 2012, works in Plastic Surgery Centre.
